Musicians First, Humanity Always
We're building the future of music collaboration — a platform where creators can connect, create, and thrive together.
Our Story
Founded in 2021. Growing every day.
CollabHut was founded in 2021 by Dylan Ellison (known online as broimsuperman), a musician who saw a gap in how artists collaborate and share their work.
What started as a simple idea — making it easier for musicians to work together remotely — has grown into a comprehensive platform that handles everything from real-time collaboration to music distribution.
Today, CollabHut is part of Root Lodge, a company dedicated to building innovative tools for the modern music industry. Our mission remains the same: empower musicians worldwide with technology that actually serves their needs.
What We Believe
The principles that guide everything we do.
Musicians First
Every decision starts with one question: "Does this help musicians?" If not, we don't do it. Your success is our success.
Radical Transparency
No hidden fees, no deceptive practices, no selling your data. We tell you exactly what we do, how we make money, and where your data goes.
Quality Over Quantity
We'd rather ship fewer features that work beautifully than rush out half-baked solutions. Your creative work deserves tools that just work.
Humanity Always
We're not just building a business — we're building something that gives back. As we grow, so does our commitment to the communities that inspire us.
Honest Policy
In an industry full of hidden fees and confusing terms, we choose to be different.
No Hidden Fees
Every price you see is the price you pay. Period.
Your Data Is Yours
We never sell your personal information. Never have, never will.
Plain English Terms
Our legal documents are written to be understood, not to confuse.
Easy Cancellation
Cancel anytime with a single click. No hoops to jump through.
Fair Platform Fee
5% on marketplace sales. You keep 95% of your earnings.
No Ownership Grab
Your music is yours. We never claim rights to your creations.
Bug Bounty
Security is a shared responsibility. We welcome responsible disclosure and appreciate researchers who help keep CollabHut safe.
Scope
Any security vulnerability that affects the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of user data or platform services is in scope. This includes XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, authentication bypasses, and other common web vulnerabilities.
How to Report
Send your report to security@collabhut.com with a detailed description, steps to reproduce, and any proof-of-concept code. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
Giving Back to Our Community
CollabHut exists because of the creative community. As we grow, we're committed to giving back — not just to musicians, but to humanity.
Emerging Artists Fund
Grants, free subscriptions, and resources for new musicians who can't afford professional tools.
Community Support
Regular donations to homeless shelters and community organizations doing meaningful work.
Faith Organizations
Support for churches and faith-based groups serving their communities and those in need.
Our Transparency Promise
As CollabHut becomes profitable, we commit to donating a set percentage of our profits to these causes. The more we earn, the more we give.
Once we reach significant profitability, we'll publish exact figures and update them regularly. You'll know exactly how much we're giving and where it's going. That's the CollabHut way.
